An #environmental disaster: 20,000 tonnes of diesel fuel has spewed out of a failed storage tank into the Ambarnaya River in Russia causing untold damage to the ecology of a pristine natural area within the Arctic Circle. This could have been avoided through effective #assetmanagement. Decision Lab UK is making tools to help operators of this type of #infrastructure understand the condition of their assets and optimise their investment in #maintenance. We cannot allow our #environment to be damaged in this way.
