Decision Lab UK have won a new project under the Defence and Security Accelerator themed #logistics competition “Right on Time”. This Dstl funded project involves us and our project partner, Firstco, developing a prototype Logistic Optimisation System (LOGOS). The work will demonstrate more efficient planning and loading of material onto transportation in a highly challenging environment – a Deployed Military Logistics Hub.
LOGOS will augment the benefits, speed and accuracy of logistics #optimisation with a visually-rich support #interface. It aims to increase the effectiveness of operators in packing the transport, reducing resource demands and improving efficiency.
To address this highly-demanding #technicalchallenge, we shall be applying cutting-edge #AI and #optimisation techniques, working together with Firstco who will develop the Visual Assistant component.
