Anna has a variety of marketing, account management and admin experience under her belt and worked at film studios such Paramount Pictures and Sony. More recently she worked at Westrock, a creative, design and packaging company. She is looking forward to a new challenge and happy to join a growing business.

David co-founded decisionLab 2011. Although the decision sciences landscape has evolved rapidly over this time, his mission remains the same: to help our clients grow their business through more effective decision making.

Peter is a simulation modeller with a background in mathematics. He has built agent-based, discrete event and system dynamics simulations for a wide range of industries, including: pharmaceutical, food and defence.

Damien is a DRL Engineer with a background in Mechatronics. His area of expertise is agent optimisation in environments with partial observability along with research into intrinsic motivation. He has significant international experience in the automotive industry and has lead development on projects on the forefront of Digital Transformation.

Gavin has a background in simulation marketing, computer networks, software, and education. He spent seven years in remote communications for Guardian News & Media, and five years in marketing for The AnyLogic Company. He has a BSc in Computing Networks, is a certified AnyLogic simulation modeler, and holds a certificate in AI from the University of Helsinki.

Alex is the principal consultant within the mathematical modelling team. He has a background in physics and is experienced in applying a range of modelling and analytic techniques to solve problems in a range of industries, including nuclear, renewables and defence.

Antony has over 10 years experience in bid management, delivering complex proposals across sectors and project types. Skilled in new business development, problem-solving, negotiation and product realisation.

Sofoklis is a Machine Learning Engineer, with a background in Software Development and Database Management, working in a variety of sectors, including finance, renewable energies, and others. He received his MSc in Computer Engineering from University of Patras, his MSc in Artificial Intelligence from City, University of London, and is currently working on his PhD, specializing on Neuro-symbolic AI, i.e. the integration of machine learning and logical reasoning.

Angela works as part of the Business Development team. She leads on internal activities that are crucial in getting a project/sale over the line. Her background is mainly in engineering, with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire. Her interests now lie in overseeing projects and bids at Decision Lab.

Joshua is an experienced consultant with expertise in optimisation and inventory control. He has a wide range of research interests, including: forecasting, stochastic modelling, and financial market. Joshua holds a PhD, having defended his work on the Newsvendor problem, a well-known inventory control model.

Dylan has an academic background in Computer Science with a particular interest in data science and simulation modelling. While studying at the University of Warwick for his MSc in Computer Science, his dissertation focused on modelling the formation of arctic melt ponds. He also has academic experience in data mining, agent-based systems, and image and video analysis.

Adam is a simulation consultant who graduated from De Montfort University with a BSc in games programming and a MSc in computing. He has a background in warehousing and logistics, obtained from spending over a year at Amazon.

Jacob is a Junior Simulation Consultant as part of the simulation team, with a background in computer science. Jacob originally joined as part of the Kickstart Scheme and has now moved to being a full time member at Decision Lab.

With a background in Business Analytics and Industrial Engineering, Sandy is interested in simulation and optimization and aims to use them to bring value to businesses. She worked in contract logistics companies for several years and has rich experience in operational excellence and solution design.

Anahita's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, with a recent Master's in Data Science from Royal Holloway University of London. She has previous software development experience, primarily in Python and cloud architecture. She works as a Machine Learning Engineer at Decision Lab, which exercises an amalgamation of her academic knowledge.

Andrew holds a physics Masters from Oxford and investigated Calabi-Yau surfaces with machine learning at the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences. He's an expert in applying machine learning to real-world problems.

Debraj's academic background includes a postgraduate MSc in Statistics and Data Science from Imperial College London, and an undergraduate degree in Statistics from Delhi University. In his daily work at Decision Lab, Debraj uses his knowledge of statistical and machine learning models, while also researching, learning and implementing new models and methods regularly.

Disa is a Machine Learning Engineer with prior experience as a Software Developer. She holds an undergraduate degree in Information Technology and has recently been conferred with a Masters in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Essex. With a strong background in programming, she leverages AI and ML techniques to solve complex problems.

Mel is a highly experienced HR professional with over 20 years of experience across various industries, including Finance, Hospitality, Public Sector, and Manufacturing. She brings expertise in recruitment, training, and generalist HR. Her passion lies in understanding and developing employees, working collaboratively to design creative solutions for Decision Lab.
