Internal Sales Coordinator

We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Internal Sales Coordinator to join our team. This
is a pivotal role designed to bridge the gap between inbound product sales enquiries and
high-value consultancy, particularly focusing on our simulation software.

As the first point of contact for leads generated through strategic technology partners and
marketing, you will qualify opportunities and manage transactional sales, ensuring our client
base remains engaged and supported.

  • Lead Response & Qualification:
    Act as the rapid responder for all inbound leads, working with the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) to handle enquiries professionally.
  • Solution-Led Upselling:
    Identify opportunities where simple enquiries could benefit from deeper consultancy and qualify these for the CSMO.
  • Transactional Sales:
    Manage inbound sales, including training days and maintenance packages, for new and existing clients.
  • Client Engagement & Retention:
    Use marketing tools and AI-driven workflows to maintain warm relationships for future renewals.
  • Lead Intelligence:
    Research key stakeholders within lead organisations to tailor our approach.
  • CRM Excellence:
    Maintain high standards of data hygiene in the CRM to ensure pipeline transparency.
  • Proven experience in internal sales or account management.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; comfortable with technical stakeholders.
  • Efficient, with rapid response times.
  • Strategic thinking to identify higher-value upselling opportunities.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of sales funnels and pipeline management.
  • Experience in technology or software-led environments.
  • Familiarity with simulation software (AnyLogic).
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot and Slack.
