Upon payment and successful registration for a course, Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and participate in the live course sessions provided by Decision Lab Ltd. according to the type of access purchased. The permitted uses are as follows:

  1. Students: Individuals who are enrolled in an academic institution and do not have funded research may purchase access under the “Student” category. The use of course materials is strictly for personal educational purposes and must not be shared, distributed, or used for commercial purposes.
  2. Academics: Salaried academics or individuals with funded research may purchase access under the “Academic” category. The course may be used for personal academic development or research purposes only and must not be shared, redistributed, or used for commercial gain.
  3. Professionals: Individuals who are attending for commercial or organisational purposes (e.g., corporate training or workplace skill development) must purchase access under the “Professional” category. Use of the course materials is restricted to internal professional development and must not be shared outside the purchasing organisation.

General Conditions of Use:

  • Users must attend live sessions only during the specified time slots.
  • Recording, redistributing, or rebroadcasting the live sessions is strictly prohibited.
  • Access to the course is granted solely to the registered User and must not be shared with others.
  • Users must respect copyright and intellectual property rights associated with the course materials.
  • Any breach of these terms may result in the termination of access without refund.

Payment Terms

  1. Payment Methods
    Payment for courses and services must be made through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We accept major debit and credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All payments are processed securely through Stripe’s encrypted platform.
  2. Currency and Pricing
    All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include any applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. The full amount must be paid before access to the course is granted.
  3. Payment Timing
    Payment is required at the time of registration. Your registration will only be confirmed upon successful payment. You will receive a confirmation email with details of your course once your payment has been processed.
  4. Billing Information
    You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete billing information. Failure to do so may result in the inability to complete your purchase or access the course.
  5. Payment Processing Fees
    Any fees associated with processing payments through Stripe are included in the total price unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  6. Failed Payments
    If a payment fails or is declined, you will be notified and asked to provide an alternative payment method. Access to the course will not be granted until payment has been successfully processed.
  7. Security
    All transactions are processed through Stripe’s secure platform. We do not store your card details. Stripe’s security practices are governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Refund Policy

  1. Eligibility for Refunds

  2. Refunds will not be provided if the course has already started or if you fail to attend a live session.
  3. No refunds are available for partially attended courses or missed sessions.

    To request a refund, please email sales@decisionlab.co.uk with your name, contact details, course name, and purchase receipt. Refund requests will be processed within 7 business days.
  2. Processing Time
    Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
  3. Course Cancellations by Decision Lab
    In the unlikely event that Decision Lab cancels a course, you will be offered the choice of:
    • A full refund, or
    • The option to transfer to a future session.
  4. Non-Refundable Situations
    Refunds will not be issued if:
    • You fail to attend the live course without prior notice.
    • You breach the Terms of Service or any course guidelines.
    • The request is made outside the 14-day cooling-off period for courses that have not yet started.
