At Decision Lab, tackling complex challenges is second nature to us, but on Sunday, 4th October, our very own Naomi Harvey is taking on a challenge of a completely different kind: Combatathon 2026.
Naomi will be joining around 80 participants for a gruelling 3-hour, high-energy Les Mills BodyCombat marathon.
What is Combatathon?
Building on the incredible momentum of last year’s Aquathon (which raised over £10,000) this year’s event moves from the pool to the studio floor.
Facilitated by popular local combat instructors, alongside a passionate team of organisers and volunteers, Combatathon brings the local community together for an intense test of stamina, coordination, and determination.
The event has already drawn fantastic support from local businesses and partners, including Morrisons, The Printers Loughborough, Bom Bom Café, Robert Bakewell Primary School, and Dave Shepherd.
Why We’re Supporting: Two Vital Causes
Every penny raised from Combatathon will be split equally between two life-changing UK charities:
- Marie Curie: The UK’s leading end-of-life charity, providing essential hands-on nursing, hospice care, and emotional support for individuals and families dealing with terminal illness and bereavement.
- Different Strokes: An active charity dedicated to helping working-age stroke survivors and their families reclaim their lives and regain independence through specialised rehabilitation and peer networks.
How You Can Help
Three straight hours of martial arts-inspired cardio is no small feat, and Naomi has been training hard to go the distance.
If you would like to cheer Naomi on and support these two incredible causes, please consider making a contribution on the official campaign page:

Stay tuned, we’ll be sharing updates and photos from the event floor following the big day on 4th October!
